It's the 1st of May and that means it's party time!!!!
Twelve months ago I started a small group on Facebook, just with some close friends who also enjoyed the art of sewing. Today that small group is tipping 3,000 members from not only around Australia but all across the globe.
It is not just a group anymore it is a COMMUNITY, a welcoming, nurturing community!
Please come join us as we celebrate our 1st birthday on Facebook beginning with our first SHOWCASE MARKET NIGHT. The market night is a collaboration of members from our business group, TSL Let's Talk Business. Almost 40 businesses have created unique handmade items which will be avaiable for sale from 8 pm AEST on Wednesday, 2nd May 2012.
Once the market night has ended on Sunday, 6th May our next major event will begin and it's a BIG ONE!
So be sure to follow this blog and our Facebook Fan Page, The Sewing Library Noticeboard to keep up to date with all our birthday celebrations!
